Driving Too Slow
Have you ever turned on to a road and suddenly the driver behind you is honking their horn yelling and tailgating you?
Have you ever driven down the road/freeway and suddenly there is a driver tailgating you and possibly honking or flashing their bright lights?
Well Common misconception of these kinds of actions would include the following..
- The Driver Behind me is a Jerk
- Damn Speed Demons
- What the heck I’m driving fast enough
- I’m doing the speed limit, slow down
- That guy is driving too fast he should be driving as fast as I am
Well there is a few Rules and possibly some laws that come into play now. You might not know this already. It is of course illegal to speed on all public roads, but the road does not belong to you and you have no right to police it to operate as you deem acceptable. If you fall under “Any” of the below sections “You” are in violation of road laws and could potentially get a Ticket.

It is also a unwritten Road rule that if the Driver behind you wants to drive faster that your current speed, you should move over and let him pass. Many cases of road rage, accidents, and violence can be avoid completely by moving out of the way and letting the driver behind you pass and drive as they please. Let the Highway Patrol take care of him that is not your job.
